Painting is my dynamic meditation.

Making a portrait is not only paint a face it is something more than that; it is to try to capture the character and the soul of the person. There are three themes that I am interested to paint: portraits, nature and intuitive painting. When I paint people I’m amazed how on Earth we are all so different and at the same time the light in our eyes is the same.
I was born in Bulgaria and studied Glass Engraving in the Professional School of Glass Arts (Beloslav, Bulgaria). At age of 22, I went to Germany, where I practiced stone engraving and stone cutting in church restorations. When I was 26 I moved to the Dominican Republic, where I had a constant exhibition of portraits and paintings at the hotels Barcelo Palace, Iberostar, Riu and hotel Paradisus Palma Real.
Together with other artists I have decorated several hotels, like Ubero Alto Sicrets and Sirenis in Dominican Republic. Meanwhile I have painted customized portraits and paintings for clients from all over the world. I have participated in collective exhibition at hotel Paradisus Palma Real ‘2008.
Since 2003 live and work in Spain, and in 2018 moved to the sunny Canary Islands. Where I’ve made several sole exhibitions at Costa Adeje Golf Club, Art Gallery by Sabila, Hotel Melia Guia de Isora and GF Hotel Isabel.
Love,
Venzi
